Abi: Net non-performing loans Fall in February

Net non-performing loans continue to decline in the balance sheets of Italian banks.

According to the latest Abi (or Italian Banks Association) report, the net value decreased to 77 bln euros, from 77.8 bln in January. This is the lowest value since May 2014.

Compared to the peak of 89 bln in November 2015, there was a reduction in net non-perfoming loans of over 13%.

The net non-performing loans ratio fell to 4.41% in February 2017 from 4.45% in the previous month (0.86% before the crisis).
