Posted: 4 August 2017

According to a report by Colliers, 2017 will be a record year for real estate investment in Italy, with a total of € 5 billion registered at the end of the first half of 2017, up 43% over the same period of 2016.

Milan is the preferred destination for the office sector, with 43% of the market volume, followed by Rome with 27%.

The retail sector sees a decline in the share of real estate portfolios, with two-thirds of the assets between the North West and the North East.

The hotel sector is confirmed by the interest of investors, which consider Italy as an important tourist destination, but with an inadequate supply.
