The regions, provinces, municipalities and other public bodies as have nominated 544 assets as part of the Proposta Immobili 2016 initiative being promoted by the Ministry of Economy and the Agenzia del Demanio (State Property Agency ) in order to select the public assets for inclusion in enhancement and disposal programmes.
The candidates include historic villas, former barracks, warehouses and sports facilities. This is the second time the project has been run and has seen 241 public bodies participating.
The properties put forward are found throughout the country: 7 in Abruzzo, 22 Basilicata, 3 in Calabria, 36 in Campania, 60 in Emilia Romagna, 16 Friuli Venezia Giulia, 27 in Lazio, 21 in Liguria, 52 in Lombardy, 31 in the Marche, 37 in Piedmont, 37 in Puglia, 14 in Sardinia, 32 in Sicily, 43 in Tuscany, 1 in Trentino Alto Adige, 1 in Umbria and 104 in Veneto.
