IPI buys Palazzo Novecento in Turin

Posted: 18 October 2016

IPI, the historic real estate company from Turin, has bought the city’s Palazzo Novecento, also known as Palazzo Gualino, for €22 million. The property was built between 1928 and 1930 by architects Giuseppe Pagano Pogatschnig and Gino Levi-Montalcini.

In 2008 it was sold by the municipality, due to budgetary problems, to the Fondo Città di Torino fund which in turn sold it to a company which went bankrupt after refurbishment had begun. The property was subsequently acquired by IPI.
