Fashion week is good for Milan’S hotels

Womenswear fashion week, which opened in Milan on Wednesday 21 September, has a €15 million impact in terms of revenues for hospitality sector businesses throughout Milan.

Revenues are concentrated in the first three days of shows. For the February event, a room occupancy of 80% was exceeded, with peaks of 90% in the initial days.

These figures emerge from an evaluation by the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
