Milan is a magnet for young people

Posted: 10 March 2017

The number of new residents in Milan in the age group 15 to 44 years it is more than 46,000 in 2016, compared with 2015. It was reported by the mayor of the city Giuseppe Sala, on the base of Cresme’s data (www.cresme.it).

The 68% of these new residents belong to the age group between 25 and 34 years. Among the main reasons for this migration is the job search.

Milano is a real estate market with a strong demand for housing, which unfortunately is in contrast to the economic possibilities of young people just entering the world of work.
