The real estate complex, which has an independent vehicle entrance on Via di Badino, is made of a wide appurtenant area and two contiguous buildings erected in different historical periods. The oldest part of the building is a crenellated stone turret with quadrangular plan and three levels above ground, which predates the 20Th Century. The former Customs House has also a quadrangular plan, is finished in painted plaster and is made of two levels above ground. The thickness of the external walls is very different in the two buildings; for the tower it even exceeds 2 m. Currently the buildings are not subject to historical and architectural restrains. However, in consideration of their ancientness, it is reasonable to expect the State to start a verification of the cultural interest pursuant to Article 12 of the Legislative Decree n. 42/2004. The complex is included in the area F2 (seaside tourist resort) of the town plan.
