Real estate information is more easily accessible\u2014through interconnections between public databases\u2014to facilitate policy decisions, improve the use of real estate assets available to public administrations, and benefit potential investments, including for public debt reduction and urban development in various areas of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Economy and Finance&#8217;s Department surveys real estate owned by public administrations, both central and local. The survey is part of the Public Administration Property project, launched in 2010 pursuant to Article 2, paragraph 222, of Law 191\/2009, for the annual survey of public assets.
