The property was built in the 1920s and can be accessed from Via Roma, 1. The building, on a single level, has a rectangular layout, and is made with a load-bearing masonry structure and flat roof; free on four sides, it has a partly-paved open courtyard where two independent flights of stairs can be found, which provide access to the building, surmounted by an iron balustrade that surrounds the property.

The property is located in the historic centre of Rometta (population 6,596), a municipality whose territory is included in the Metropolitan City of Messina (population over 600,000). The urban settlement, located in a dominant position above sea level, in a hilly area (560 metres above sea level), falls within the area of the Peloritani Mountains. The municipality is perched in a defensive and suggestive position, with historical structures that bear witness to the centuries-old presence of the town and defensive structures. The Milazzo plain was reached via two roads with an ancient layout. The area is located approximately 30 km away from Messina (40 minutes by car) and 220 km from Palermo (approximately 3 hours by car). The “Rometta” exit of the “A-20” motorway (Messina-Palermo) is located approximately 14 km from the property. The ancient castle-city of Rometta can be reached by taking the provincial road SP-56 for approximately 11 km from the Tyrrhenian hamlet of Rometta Marea.
