Levico Terme (TN) – Grand Hotel Imperial

The Grand Hotel Imperial, a refined Art Nouveau hotel dating back to the early 1900s, was one of the summer residences of the Austrian imperial family. The property, located in the municipality of Levico Terme, in the province of Trento, includes a spa that uses the therapeutic properties of the Levico Terme water and a 1.5-hectare park for exclusive use (on a total surface area of12 hectares open to the public). The construction of the hotel was part of the work of international redevelopment of Levico and its thermal waters started by the Hungarian entrepreneur Julius Pollacsek at the end of the 19th century, supported by the construction of the Valsugana Railway (1896). The hotel is located near the historic center overlooking the large park, whose construction began in 1898 based on the design of landscape gardener Georg Ziehl.
