The data centre will be designed to guarantee the highest level of security standards with high connectivity. The infrastructure will be equipped with uninterrupted power supply (UPS), a sustainable cooling system and 24-hour active surveillance, guaranteeing high performance, maximum security and operational continuity even in the event of power grid interruptions. The site will be surrounded by a fence at least 3 meters high, integrated with an advanced video surveillance system. The buildings will be developed on a maximum of two floors and will have an architectural shape harmoniously integrated into the surrounding context; they will be made with prefabricated elements and optimized for efficiency and energy saving. The project includes a total covered area of 10,000 sqm, divided into five buildings of approximately 2,000 sqm each, which can be built in a modular manner. The Server HUB will be designed with advanced server cooling systems, optimizing energy efficiency and improving overall infrastructure performance. The data centre will be powered primarily by renewable energy sources to reduce environmental impact.

The land on which the server HUB should be built is located in the agricultural area of Casali del Manco (population 9,331), along the SS-107 (Silana-Crotonese), near the crossroads that leads to the village of Silvana Mansio, with excellent accessibility. The area is located a short distance from the well-known towns of Lorica and Camigliatello Silano and the Sila National Park with the Cecita and Arvo lakes and the Fallistro Nature Reserve. The city of Cosenza (with the train station) is located about 40 km, while the international airport of Lamezia Terme is 110 km away (90-100 minutes by car). The “Cosenza” exit on the A-2 motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria) is located about 45 km from the area (40-50 minutes by car).
