Invitalia has launched a Call for Proposal for the redevelopment of the Bagnoli area, and it is looking for urban planning and engineering companies’ consortia able to present imaginative solutions for the transformation and renewal of this highly relevant section of Naples’ waterfront.
The selection process includes a public shortlisting of the best 20 candidates, based on the experience and skills of the participating consortia, to be then invited to present project proposals. The best three proposal will be prized as follows: 150.000 €, 100.000 €, and 75.000 €. The consortia should demonstrate capabilities in urban transformation projects and urban parks, including a list of experts in architecture and urban planning, engineers (for infrastructures, environmental and hydraulic solutions), an agronomist and a geologist.
The winner of the international contest could be directly contracted by Invitalia to provide the final project design and implementation, in accordance with the Italian public procurement code.
