Bank of Italy – Sales Notices of Former Branches

Posted: 11 July 2024

On the 14th of June 2024, the sales notices of four former branches of the Bank of Italy (Banca D’Italia) have been published. Interested parties must send an expression of interest by the application deadline, the 31st of July 2024. The properties in question are:

CALTANISSETTA (CL)- Corso Umberto I no. 126 (Former Bank of Italy Branch)

GROSSETO (GR) – Viale Giacomo Matteotti no. 35-37 (Former Bank of Italy Branch)

LA SPEZIA (SP) – Via S. Antonio no. 19 (Former Bank of Italy Branch)

GORIZIA (GO) – Via Codelli no. 9-11 (Former Bank of Italy Branch)

The Bank, in decommissioning its properties, favours solutions that enhance the value of real estate, give new life to historic properties and promote their use aimed at the cultural and economic growth of the territory of reference. In this perspective, several operations have been implemented in favour of the community, often involving state and local administrations.

The real estate sales activity concerns the buildings owned by the Bank which are no longer used for institutional purposes, first and foremost, the buildings which, before the reorganization of the peripheral network, housed branches (then ceased), traditionally located in the historic centers of cities. For these buildings, it is also possible to sell residential and office components separately.
