Bankitalia: mortgage rates in September dropped to a new low

The rates on new home loans to Italian households fall in September to the new minimum of 2.33% records. The figure emerges from the Supplement to the Statistical Bulletin of the Bank of Italy.

The average interest rate on new loans, except for the loan management expenses, down to 2.02% in September from 2.16% in August.

Even in this case it is a new record low. Also decreased the average rates for consumer credit: to 6.6% in September from 6.71% in August.
