Revenues grow for Qatar in Costa Smeralda

Smeralda Holding – the Italian company controlled by sovereign fund Qatar Investment Authority, owner of a portfolio of property and land along the coast of the Costa Smeralda, in Sardinia, since 2012– closed the summer 2016 tourist season with occupancy up 18% on 2015. It is estimated that 2016 will close with €86.4 million in revenues (up 5.5%) and an EBITDA up 15%.

The Smeralda Holding portfolio consists of four hotels (Cala di Volpe, Romazzino, Pitrizza and Cervo), the Porto Cervo Marina, a shipyard, the Pevero Golf Club and other minor assets.
