Real estate funds: equity to € 53 billion by the end of the year

According to a report by Scenari Immobiliari entitled Real Estate Funds in Italy and abroad, it is estimated that in Italy, by the end of 2016, the net assets of real estate funds are expected to reach € 47.8 billion, a 4.6% increase on the previous year.

Directly held real estate assets already stand at €53 billion and could grow to almost €55 billion.

In the eight major European countries under consideration (France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland) it is estimated that, by the end of 2016, assets for €500 billion will be in the hands of real estate funds.
