Design tenders declined at the beginning of 2019

2019 does not start well for the design competitions, after the December boom.

In January, calls for design alone were 188, -43.7% compared to December and -28.0% compared to January 2018, with a value of 28.9 million euro, -66.7% on December and – 6.5% on January 2017.

The comparison with the previous month of December, record month of 2018, is negative, while compared to the month of January 2018 the decline is concentrated in the below-threshold tenders (-36.6% in number and – 34.4% in value), on the other hand, the above threshold calls continue to grow: + 41.4% in number and + 15.4% in value.
