The Italian real estate is a two-speed market: on the one hand there are the big cities in a good state of health, which translates into rising prices, on the other hand there are the provinces still suffering, especially on the demand front.

The scenario is confirmed by the last Observatory by on the residential market in Italy in 2018.

If at national level December ended with a 0.8% decrease in prices, compared to the same month of the previous year, in the cities with more than 250,000 inhabitants the housing prices rise by 0.4% against a loss of over 1% for smaller centres.
