Istat – Citizens’ satisfaction with living conditions

In the first months of 2018 citizens’ satisfaction with living conditions displayed signs of progress, in comparison with the stasis recorded in 2017.

The percentage of people satisfied with their economic situation reached 53% , up from 50.5% in 2017.

The job satisfaction remained unchanged: 76.7% of employed people declared to be very or fairly satisfied. Also, women are more satisfied than men (77.6% and 76.1% respectively).

The opinion on the adequacy of family economic resources shows signs of improvement too: the households’ share evaluating them positive rises from 57.3% in 2017 to 59.0% in 2018.
