The tourist sector boom recorded in 2017 will be confirmed also in 2018. This is confirmed both by Trip 2018 forecasts by CISET – International Centre for Studies on Tourism Economics of the Ca’Foscari University of Venice – and the dossier on Italian tourism in 2018 by ForwardKeys, a leading company in the tourist flows analysis.
The peak of arrivals in Italy will be between July and August 2018. The growth of Italian museums, greater than 10% in 2017, forecasts also for this year the presence of tourists interested in the culture and the immense Italian artistic heritage.
The most requested Italian cities in 2018 will be Catania + 9.6%; Palermo + 8%; Venice + 8%; Rome + 6%; Florence + 3.6%.
