Lombardy queen of Italian logistics

Lombardy is the Italian region that trains the national logistics sector, thanks to a volume of more than €20 billion (26% of Italian turnover) and over 1,500 companies according to a research carried out by the Logistics Research Center of the Cattaneo University of Castellanza.

The Lombard freighter is the most important in the country and among the largest in Europe, with a volume of 537,000 tonnes of goods (+ 7.4% compared to 2016) and an average of 110 weekly cargo flights (55% of the national ones).
