Real estate investments grow in Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019

According to RE / MAX data, Matera European Capital of Culture in 2019, has become an interesting city for real estate investments aimed at expanding tourist accommodation, with a growth in the rental market.

In the city there are over 700 Bed & Breakfast, small hotels and typical hotels.

The request focuses on the historical city centre, particularly in the Sassi area, and it comes mainly from international clients, coming from different European countries to which in recent years have also joined investors from Russia, Japan and China.
