Undergrounds: 191 million euro to big cities

The Italian Minister of Transports and Infrastructures approved the spending of 191 million euro – from the fund for the improvement of local public transport offer- in trains and infrastructures for the big cities.

The selected interventions are:

  • MILAN, Milan-Limbiate light rail, second lot, 40 million euros;
  • FLORENCE, tramway line 2, Sesto Fiorentino-Polo Scientifico section, 29.9 million euros;
  • NAPLES, subway, line 6, Exhibition-Arsenal-Campegna section, 38 million euros;
  • ROME, metro C, section T3, supply of 4 trains, 36.4 million euros.
