Fashion: by 2020 the 25% of sells will be on line

According to the ninety brands interviewed, the 20% of the trade exchange volume is already on line, this share is about to grow to 25% by 2020.

This is what emerges from the study “Dressed For Digital – The Next Evolution In Fashion Marketing” by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Zalando Marketing Services.

Among the companies surveyed, online retailing is growing three times faster than traditional business.

At the moment sales on online channels owned by companies and on platforms are balanced, but by 2020 the balance will move towards the platforms.
