Moody’s: NPLs are expected to decrease in 2017

Posted: 1 February 2017

The level of bad loans may have peaked.

The Moody’s rating agency says that the percentage of problem loans of Italian banks may decline to around 17.6% in 2017, from 18.5% in 2015.

This data demonstrates that the influx of new loans is slowing, which suggests that the stock may have reached its peak.
