Naples, number of sales increases, but prices fall again

Posted: 2 November 2016

According to the official lists from the Borsa Immobiliare di Napoli (Agenzia delle Entrate, or Income Revenue Agency), in the second quarter of 2016 residential transactions in Naples were up 25.3% on the same period the previous year; however the fall in prices is more marked in Naples than elsewhere in the country.

This phenomenon involves all Neapolitan neighbourhoods with the exception of Vomero and Arenella, with an average fall of -1.4% in H1 2016 compared to the previous six months.
