The compound, used by the Army, is in the old town of Caserta, near the famous Royal Palace named Reggia Borbonica and so-called Versailles of Italy. It is not far from the railway station (about 1 km) and very near to the major attractions. The town has a strong tourist vocation, not only for the Palace but also for the huge architectural historical heritage among which stand out the Belvedere Reale of San Leucio, the Caroline Aqueduct and the medieval village of Casertavecchia.

The compound is near the Royal Palace of Caserta and can be reached from the exit Caserta Nord of the highway A1 (Milan-Naples) or from the exit Caserta Sud of the highway A30.

Both from the airport of Naples Capodichino, which is 24 km away, and from the port of Naples, 33 km away, there are bus connections to Caserta.

The town is also well connected to the main Italian cities by rail.

From the estate the railway station can be reached in 5 minutes just crossing the square in front of the Royal Palace.
