The property consists of the building of the former electrical substation, which is under cultural restriction, and two buildings for residential use located along the adjacent railway line. The property is a short distance from the ‘Collegno’ railway station. Also soon to be built is the new ‘Certosa’ stop of the metro line 1, with connections to the centre of Turin.

 

The complex is located in the peripheral area of Collegno (population 48,430), a municipality included in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Turin, with access from Via Torino, under the “Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa” urban park, and Via di S. Massimo, 500 meters from the train station and approximately 1 km from the urban area. In the area, which falls within the “Collegno Rignera” variant of the Urban Regeneration Project’s Area 2 (RigU-A.2), there is a cycle/pedestrian path and the soon-to-be-activated “Certosa” metro stop, which will make travel to and from the centre of Turin much faster. The city is approximately 10 km from the capital (25-35 minutes by car) and approximately 70 km from Asti (50-60 minutes by car). Turin Caselle international airport is located approximately 23 km from the area (30 minutes by car).
