The complex consists of a plot of land with outbuildings. The trapezoid-shaped plot is almost flat and has a total surface area of 464,736.04 square metres. The property is bordered on three sides by the river Aniene. There are 11 buildings which were once used as residences, offices, pollination units, greenhouses, warehouses, etc. The company once kept significant collections of germplasm from various tree species. There were also nurseries for the maintenance and conservation of the basic materials for the certification, production and selling of poplar clones which were selected and patented by the former Centre for Agricultural and Forestry Experimentation (CSAF).

Specifically, it consists of 11 buildings including: a storage facility/warehouse (n. 1), a building used partly as a residential building and partly as a warehouse (n. 2), a building used partly as an office building and partly as a residential building (n. 3), a greenhouse used for experiments (n. 4), an industrial unit (n. 5), a metal structure used as a greenhouse (n. 6), a metal structure used for storing/sheltering agricultural equipment (n. 7), a storage/warehouse building (n. 8), a sheet metal building used to protect the drinking water system (n. 9), a weather station (n. 10), a warehouse/tool store (n. 11).
The intended use of the buildings can be changed by obtaining a planning agreement.
The former Cesurni Company (ex Azienda Cesurni) is located in the municipality of Tivoli (a town of about 56,603 inhabitants) in the suburbs around Bagni di Tivoli on Via Cesurni Snc Rolando. The area is well connected to the road network (via Tiburtina) and easily accessible by public transport (Tivoli Terme Station) but is lacking in primary and secondary services. The area is bordered by the River Aniene, Via Cesurni (right of way) and other properties. The building complex is made up of various buildings with different functions. These buildings were built between the 1940s and 1990s. More specifically they consist of:
1.a storage facility/warehouse (unit 377) which was built between 1930 and 1940 and consists of a single level above-ground. The gross surface area of the property in question is 130.00 square metres.
2.a building used partly as a residential building and partly as a warehouse (unit 391) consisting of two floors above ground for the residential part and one floor above ground used for storage/ as a warehouse. This property was built between 1930 and 1940. The gross surface area of the residential part is 187.20 square metres, whereas the gross area of the warehouse is 129.40 square metres;
3.a building used partly for offices and partly for residential purposes (unit 383) consisting of two floors above ground, an attic and a basement. The gross surface area of each floor is 179.00 square metres.
4.an experimentation greenhouse (unit 379) with only one floor above ground – gross usable area 247;
5.an industrial building (unit 382) with only one floor above ground – gross usable area 360.00;
6.a metal structure used as a greenhouse (dotted line on the map extract) with only one floor above ground – gross usable area 1056.50;
7.a metal structure used to store/ shelter agricultural tools (dotted line), with only one floor above ground – gross usable area 170;
8.a warehouse/storage facility with a single floor above ground (unit 378) – gross usable area 82.00;
9.a sheet metal structure to protect the drinking water system (dotted line) with only one floor above ground – gross usable area 22.80
