The school building, a single-story structure made of solid masonry, is located in the San Rocco District of the Municipality of Fiumara (RC), with its main façade on Via Francesco Crispi. The slope of the street allowed for the creation of a raised outdoor area, belonging to the building. The main façade is punctuated by three rectangular openings, framed at the top by simple geometric motifs. The entrance, also bordered by a simple cornice, can be found on the side. The decorative composition is completed by rusticated corner pilasters, set on a continuous base and concluded by a moulded cornice, a masonry structure, and a simple geometry.

The asset is located in the urban area of Fiumara (population 829), a municipality within the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria. The area on which it stands represent a strategic position in the so-called “pre-park” zone, a hinge between the coast and the mountainous inland areas. Fiumara provides access to the Aspromonte National Park (formally established in 1994 and included in the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network since 2021), which extends entirely within the province of Reggio Calabria, between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas. It is an ideal place for nature, cultural, and spiritual itineraries, where the mountains blend harmoniously with the sea. Numerous species of rare flora and fauna populate these pristine environments. The area is approximately 20 km from Reggio Calabria (25-30 minutes by car) and 25 km from the Strait of Messina Airport (30 minutes by car). The “Villa San Giovanni” exit of the A-2 motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria) is approximately 9 km from the property (15 minutes by car). Also nearby are the ferry terminals for Sicily and the “Villa San Giovanni” train station, with regional and high-speed trains reaching Rome in 5.5 hours.
