The “Erzelli” Science and Technology Park of Genoa (GREAT Campus) was conceived as a meeting place for High Tech companies, research centres, universities and the Health Centre, thus creating a continuous flow between moments of work, study, leisure, rest and meeting. The “Erzelli” Science and Technology Park of Genoa (GREAT Campus) is located in the peripheral area ofGenoa (population 562,422), on the Erzelli hill, in the Cornigliano district, between Sestri Ponente and Sampierdarena. In the area, with a prevalence of industrial and commercial structures, the most significant urban regeneration project of the city is being built. The site is approximately 3 km from the “Cristoforo Colombo” International Airport of Genoa, 2 km from the “Genova Sestri Ponente Aeroporto” railway station, 1 km from the “Genova Sestri Ponente Aeroporto” motorway and 5 km from the Port of Genoa. Excellent accessibility by private vehicle and connections to the public transport infrastructure. The new campus is surrounded by a public park of over 20 hectares, accessible to all.
