The appurtenances consist of fuel warehouse, oven, utility room and a former stable. Except for government uses, the entire estate has a tourist accomodation intended use, with the possibility to host events of high cultural value, for example connected to scientific and/or environmental research and educational initiatives, and especially in relation with the historical and natural context.

Realmonte is a town in the province of Agrigento, which is at about 15 km, at a distance of about 7 km from Porto Empedocle. The area has increasing altitudes, up to 400 m; the town is at 100/150 metres above sea level. The coastal arch is characterized by high coastland perched over the sea and hosts the seaside resorts of Baia di Capo Rossello, Punta Grande, Pergole, Giallonardo and Lido la Spiaggetta, as well as the famous Scala dei Turchi, a spur of white rocks shaped like a staircase rising steeply from the sea, which is of great natural and landscape appeal. Another important attraction in the area is the Tower of Monterosso, dating back to the 16th century, situated on the same promontory in panoramic position. In former times the locality of Capo Rossello was accessible only by mule but nowadays a comfortable road connects the lighthouse to the neighbouring villages.
