Due to its vicinity to the South Milan Park and to the Parco delle Rogge, the main aim of the transformation is to complete the urban ecological network taking advantage of the existing landscape elements.

For the purposes of developing the area, the protection guidelines of the Metropolitan Area Development Plan (PTM) must be respected, with the aim of guaranteeing the permeability and continuity of the Rogge Park and the enhancement of the existing natural elements.

The design phase shall pay special attention to the protection of the existing natural elements and guarantee adequate integration and mitigation interventions, both of the buildings and of the future mobility infrastructure.

The Implementation Plan shall recall the urban, architectural and relational composition of villages and old towns, as defined in the URBAN AND ARCHITECTURAL STUDY.

For the implementation of the regeneration project, the preparation and approval of the public initiative Implementation Plan is expected by 2025, with subsequent publication of a public tender for the assignment of the building rights, also for functional lots by 2026.

The area can be reached by car using the A7 Milan/Genoa motorway exit which is 3 km away, or via the Milan West Ring Road exit which is only 2 km away.

The railway station of Milano Porta Genova is about 12 km away, and the airport of Milano Linate is 22 km away.
