Property of great historical and artistic value, renovated and used as a tourist accommodation in the ground and first floors, already in use at the time of the earthquake in 2012. The earthquake rendered it inhabitable, but it can recover its function with appropriate restoration and anti-seismic interventions. Part of the ground floor and the whole structure need improvements for future use. The complex is situated in the city centre, and it has a large yard and a private parking.
The former monastic infirmary, restored with public funds, represents an investment opportunity for the operators of the hospitality industry who aim to start a good accommodation activity in a rich historical and architectural context. The structure is also suitable for business tourism.
In order to make the accommodation more effective and to host up to a busload of tourists, the number of rooms and beds has been increased reaching at least 25 rooms (7 quadruple rooms, 16 double rooms, 2 single rooms for a total of 62 beds). The project provides for kitchen, dressing room and food store in the north-eastern side, and restaurant, bar, foyer, and conference hall in the remaining part of the building. All this will be realized in a surface of 2.995 sqm respecting and enhancing the historical features of the place. The estate has also a large courtyard and a garden, private and accessible directly from the main square in the old town.
