The Voghera Bertoldi Palace is a prestigious building, with its first layout dating back to the 16th century, located along Via Ponte Pietra in the so-called “Fontanelle” area, with side elevations overlooking Vicolo Fontanelle and Via Cappelletta di Verona. The building is divided into three levels above ground, plus the attic and basement, for residential, office and commercial use; the building is divided into 9 real estate units, 7 of which for residential use, one for office use and one for commercial use, with a connected cellar, for a total area of approximately 1,300 sqm. Eight of the 9 units are currently leased.
The external façades, currently degraded, are plastered in lime with an important fresco frieze placed at the top, in the part under the wooden eaves, attributable to the school of Jacopo Ligozzi, a Veronese painter who worked between the end of the sixteenth and the beginning of the seventeenth century. In the basement, the cellar is divided into four large rooms (for a total area of approximately 150 sqm) with walls in historic mixed Adige stone masonry and recovered Roman stones, with a barrel-vaulted brick ceiling. The latest modernizations date back to the early twentieth century. None of the properties is equipped with a heating system. The electricity and gas supply systems, although functioning, need to be refurbished. The entire real estate property requires major renovations and conservative restorations.

The real estate property is located in the historic centre of Verona (population 255,558), capital of the province of the same name, in the Veneto Region, in the limited traffic area (ZTL) with access reserved for residents (pedestrian area). The building, of notable historical-architectural value, has two entrances, at number 25 in via Ponte Pietra and at number 14 in vicolo Fontanelle. The Voghera Bertoldi Palace, located near the embankment of the Adige river, is a short distance away from the archaeological sites of Ponte Pietra and the Roman Theatre, which ate back to the Roman era, and is not far from Castel San Pietro. The street in which the building is located boasts small restaurants, shops, and taverns, and it is very renowned and frequented by residents and locals alike. The Verona Porta Nuova railway station, located on the interconnection of the Milan-Venice and Bologna-Brenner lines, is approximately 5 km from the property (15 minutes by car).
