Residential: sales times are reduced and energy quality increases

According to the Bank of Italy survey on the housing market conducted from 2 January to 1 February 2019 at 1,476 agencies, the balance between the percentage of operators reporting an increase in sales prices and in the fourth quarter of 2018 remained negative.

That of those who indicate a decrease. On the other hand, the discount margin with respect to the initial requests of the seller was reduced, as well as sales times, which were reported on average levels in the last two years.

Faced with an overall reduction in demand, the recomposition of transactions to relatively more energy-efficient properties continued.
