Rimini and Positano are Italy’s favourite beaches

Posted: 10 August 2016

According to the attractiveness and recognisability index drawn up by the research department of the Monza and Brianza Chamber of Commerce, Rimini heads the charts for Italy’s seasides, followed by Positano, Porto Cervo, Taormina and Amalfi.

Then there is Tuscany with Orbetello and the Argentario peninsula, returning to Romagna with Riccione and to Puglia with the renowned bay of Gallipoli.

Lakes feature among the top ten with Sirmione. If one considers only factors such as recognisability, property values and rents, the ranking changes: at the top is Portofino, then Amalfi, Forte dei Marmi, Porto Cervo and Sirmione.
