Tourism: Summer 2017 marks new records for Italy

According to a report made on a sample of 2,350 accommodation facilities by Centro Studi Turistici, on behalf of Confesercenti-Assoturismo, summer 2017 will mark new records.

Overall, this summer saw an increase of over 7.6 million overnight stays (+ 3.7%) and over 1.9 million arrivals (+ 4.1%), results above expectations.

A performance that led to the recruitment of workers: 15.8% of the respondents said they needed to increase the number of staff, especially in the North East and South.
