Offices: rents increase all over Europe in 2019, + 9.1% in Milan

Posted: 30 January 2019

The directional fees will increase on average by 3.4% per year in Europe during 2019, supported by low vacancy rates and by the lack of quality stocks.

This is what emerges from the latest research by Savills, according to which there are many occupiers who have chosen to temporarily meet their needs by settling in flexible office spaces, in order to face the shortage of immediate availability or the current political uncertainty.

In detail, Savills expects that the prime offices of Milan, Frankfurt, Barcelona and Dublin will become more expensive for the occupiers in 2019, with increases of 9.1%, 6.6%, 6.4% and 6.3% respectively.
