Venice: Visitors boom for the International Film Festival

The Venice Film Festival is approaching and the searches made by tourists for city accommodation increase from 7.6%.

The increase also affected Lido and Mestre, where searches increased by 1.9% and 3.7%, respectively.

According to the Internet site Hundredrooms, the tourist apartments already booked in Venice during the festival days, which will be held from 30 August to 9 September, amount to 92%.

In the week from August 21 to 29, the average price for an apartment for two people is 181 euros a night, in the one that runs from August 30 to September 9, the average price per night for two people rises to 217 euros.
