The Palazzo degli Uffici is located in the historic centre of Taurianova, with direct access from Via XXIV Maggio. The neat volume of the building -two aboveground levels with a rectangular layout- is characterised by two main wings, slightly projecting with smooth ashlar angles. The connection between the floors is via a stairwell located in the main entrance hall; the property covers a gross surface areaof 764 sqm. The external fixtures are made of wood with shutters, partly without adjustable flaps and with evident signs of deterioration. The building’s systems, which have been unused for some time, are obsolete and require modernization.

The property is located in the historic centre of Taurianova (population 14,788), in the province of Reggio Calabria, an area enriched by the presence of numerous historic buildings of great value, some of which belong to the “Dimore storiche italiane”association (the “Italian Historic Houses” project). The municipality is well served by local roads which, via the SP-1 (ex SS-111), allows one to reach the “Gioia Tauro” exit on the A-3 motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria), which is 12 km from the property (20 minutes by car). The city of Reggio Calabria is located approximately 60 km from the area (60 minutes by car). Gioia Tauro railway station, served by regional and Intercity trains on the Reggio Calabria-Rome Termini line, is located 15 km from Taurianova (25 minutes by car). The airports of Reggio Calabria and Lamezia Terme are respectively 70 and 87 km from the area (60 minutes by car).
