The building areas extend for 23,000 sqm and are located in the eastern quadrant of the city, in the Japigia district, well served by public transport and the railway line (Bari Parco Sud station), with good accessibility via public roads. The buildings in the urban area are mostly intended for residential, commercial, hospitality and management use; the headquarters of the Polytechnic of Bari, public and private offices and the “Mongolfiera Japigia” shopping centre can all be found in the vicinities. The area, adjacent to the “Bari-Torre a Mare” railway line, will be involved in the future decommissioning of the regional section, which will allow the urban fabric of the entire city area to be reconnected. The municipal intervention of the Urban Implementation Plan “Bari Costa Sud” is planned in the surrounding area, a project that benefits from Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan’s funding, and includes the urban regeneration and transformation of the entire urban area of the southern seafront of Bari, with the establishment of new public-private functions, green areas, roads and an increase in the public transport offer.

The areas are located in the semi-central area of Bari (population 316,226), in the eastern quadrant of the city, in the Japigi district. The recent redevelopment works completed in the area have provided the neighbourhood with new cycle paths, obtaining a general notable increase in the attractiveness of the area, which is very well connected to the city centre. The “Bari-Parco Sud” railway station, on the regional Barletta-Bari-Torre a mare line, is adjacent to the area and allows one to reach the Bari Centrale station (with the High Speed line) in a few minutes. The beach is located in front of the property, while the historic centre of Old Bari and the Port are located 3 and 6 km from the area respectively. The international airport Karol Wojtyla of Bari (10th Italian airport for passenger traffic) is 17 km from the area (25-30 minutes by car).
