Progress in the Brescia-Verona high speed: Saipem-FS sign a 1.6 billion euros contract

Italian Rail Network (FS Group) and the Cepav two Consortium, which is controlled by Saipem (Eni) at 59%, – after the Cipe approval in 2017 – on June 6th, 2018 signed a 1.6 billion euro contract in order to realize the first construction lot of the Brescia Est-Verona high-speed railway line, essentially the addendum to the Tav concession signed in 1991.

The contract cost of the works entrusted to the General Contractor is 1.6 billion euro. The Saipem share is about 970 million euros.
