Posted: 30 May 2017

A survey conducted by Bankitalia with 1,413 real estate agencies revealed how in Italy, compared to the last quarter, prospects for short-term evolution in the real estate market have slightly improved.

Positive expectations rose to 18.1%, with more medium-term optimism too and almost 50% of players expecting a medium-term improvement in market conditions, thanks also to quicker sales times.

The share of purchases funded in the first quarter with a mortgage loan remained more or less stable at around 80%. Expectations also improved for rents.
