In Bologna, the first Italian experiment of co-living

Posted: 16 August 2017

A 3-storey and 1,000-square-foot condominium in Bologna has become a case study and a co-living model in Europe.

The building has been renamed Lambanda and hosts up to 16 tenants who are self-organizing. Everything was born from an ad on Facebook by Vincenzo Rizzuto, 26, graduating in medicine that came to town, was looking for “people to live in a home where they can rest and experience in time and knowledge”.

Memberships did not delay to arrive and after two years to share space and ideas are in ten, between 25 and 41 years.

The main feature of tenants who want to live in this space is the willingness to share, making available other skills and knowledge to learn from others.
