House seekers use the Internet

“House” is one of the most searched words on Google by Italians, beating by far some of the terms typically attributed to the average Italian, such as sports, or other terms which are particularly sensitive in this period, such as work.

According to Google’s consumer survey commissioned by Homepal, the European social platform for real estate ads, over 60% of potential home buyers begin their search on the web, whereas 25% read the announcements in real estate agents’ shops and and only 15% rely on traditional sale signs hanging on walls and doors.
