Florence: rents are growing (+2.5% in the City centre)

The Florentine residential segment recorded good results, above all on the rentals side, with rents up on an annual basis between 1.5% and 2.5% for the prestige segment and the city centre and stationary quotations for the half centre and suburbs, according to the 3rd 2018 Real Estate Observatory by Nomisma.

The prices variation also return positive with an annual average stationary (+ 0.2%), a trend also confirmed by the half-year performance.

The selling times for used houses decrease by about 1 month on an annual basis and go from 4 months in the centre to about 6.5 months in the outlying areas. Rentals times also slightly decreased, reduced to just under 2 months in all the urban locations.
