Demand/supply gap of student housing in Italy: is it an opportunity?

Posted: 28 March 2018

According to a Nomisma analysis, in Italy the housing offer for university students – provided by Universities, colleges and regional institutions – is strongly in default of the housing needs of non-resident registered students.

The students out of town and not commuters are 650000, the beds available are 65000: this means that only the 10% of the demand stays in student housing, this underline a strong need of housing solutions.
