Istat: In July the climate of confidence of consumers and companies is stable

According to ISTAT, the index related to the families recorded a slight increase from 116.2 in June to 116.3 points (slightly higher than the expectations of analysts), while the composite index of companies stood at 105.4 from 105.5 with substantial stability.

The stationarity of the consumer confidence index reflects heterogeneous components dynamics: the economic component and the future component are declining; instead, the personal and the current climate, after the decrease of the last three months, return to increase.

For companies, there are negative signs from services and retail trade, the indicator is stable in industry and it improves in construction.
