Milan: directional sector in recovery

Posted: 7 May 2018

The attractiveness of Milan in the directional sector keep staying high, even after years of suffering.

According to Nomisma, on the demand side, strong attention is paid to management costs and the use / flexibility of the spaces, not only in the centre but also in the semi-centre and in the suburbs, as long as the areas are served by subways (500 mt.).

The demand by multinationals and services companies is growing in the semi-central areas and in the zones at the edge of the city centre (City Life, Porta Nuova and Portello), due to the need to expand the space (4,000-5,000 square meters).

Even in the historic centre, the demand by professional firms regards large square footage (2,000-2,500 square meters).
